The Firefly, alone on the pond, IN-FRONT of the masses, Jake Bugg is moving forward with further promotion of his new album.

'On my One', The cockney slang has reached Nottingham!

The Young British Nottingham lad is establishing his sound and presence further, with Bitter Salt, East meets West, My sources reckon it was actually filmed in Tokyo and a claim to fame, (My friend had a coffee in the Starbucks passed in the clip, but I couldn't see where when I watched the video again) the track contains guitar stabbing delights and the sounds and styles of The Stone Roses and Scott Matthews ringing throughout, considering the video is set with a Eastern twist, is Jack trying to appeal to a different audience? or define a popular western featured pop sound, giving this track a more distant cultural influence.

Previously when talking with the NME in June Jake said, 'This album is make or make break for me'. Jake admits his new album also has a lot of hip hop influences throughout the album, expanding and giving his fans a different mix from his last work. So lets give the East Midlands lad some support and help spread the word.

Anyhow worth a listen and note to the 'Beano boys', could be on the cards to book tickets to a UK show.
